Eta Beta Scholarship Essays |
As referenced earlier, five of our new chapter brothers (who are not seniors) qualified for the Eta Beta, Sigma Nu Scholarship for Excellence award presented at this renunion.
Needless to say, we are also pleased that Sigma Nu Fraternity at ECU has the highest gradepoint average of anyh fraternithy on campus. So it was exciting to attend the Alumni Banquet and see Andrew William Lee, HB 483 receive his scholarship.
Therefore, on this page we are pleased to present all five of the essays in this year's competition. While there was only winner, we felt our alumni and their friends might want to review all five essays. So we have copied Andrew's again here along with those submitted by his fellow brothers.
They were: Thomas, Gryb, HB 448; Noah Rogers; Cameron Prentis; and John Strimple, HB 498.
As you can see, the Eta Beta Alumni Association are very pleased with this year's efforts and the high scholastic averages of the Eta Beta Chapter.
Brother John Lowe of Tarboro, NC has been working closely with the chapter and is the newly elected Alumni Association President. Tommy Baker, whose son is also a new brother, will serve as treasurer, so we feel the Snaake Reunion and Eta Beta Alumni Association is in good hands and we are all very proud of our new brothers.
