Brother Dan Blank wrote a poem about SR #6 and we posted it before he got to Greenville. He drove in from Texas to get to Greenville, with his bride by his side to get to see his Brothers of Sigma Nu. Here's his poem for you to enjoy. Think about it and then join us next year:
"There’s a breeze approaching Greenville out of the west.
It’s crossed 6 great states with intentions of fun and jest.
Eta Beta 172 and his bride arrive today,
Meeting other SNU’s for lots of play!
The fun town of Purple and Gold,
Will once again listen to tales of old.
The Wingate hotel is the HQ,
Activities abound with lots to do.
Dinner and dance take place tonight!
Old Snu’s don’t party anymore until daylight. (dang it that old age thing)
A Pirate game on the morrow will take place,
As we blow the Hokies out of Dowdy-Ficklen space.
If you miss the Snake Reunion, I’m sorry my brother,
Because it will be a whole year before there’s another."
