The Eta Beta Chapter of Sigma Nu has returned to the campus of East Carolina University. The Snakes are back!
Robert Myron "Bobby" Tuttle
We regret to advise our Brothers and Friends that six (6) days before our 4th Snake Reunion in Lexington, VA, at the headquarters of Sigma Nu Fraternity, our Brother "Bobby" Tuttle or "Tut" as many of us knew him, passed away at his home in Morehead City. Many of us remember that Tut was a part of the High Council of the Snake Reunion responsible for starting the Eta Beta reunion process. He was also responsible for our Snake Reunion shirts that many now prize and the Snake Reunion decals and lapel pins many of us display or wear. Tut played a key role in getting the Eta Betas to begin their reunion process that ultimately will lead to the Eta Beta Alumni Chapter of Sigma Nu and could eventually bring Sigma Nu back to the East Carolina campus. None of his brothers will forget Tuttle for the brother he was to us all.
