The Eta Beta Chapter of Sigma Nu has returned to the campus of East Carolina University. The Snakes are back!

James Sherwood "Fritz" Hueston, Jr., age 81, passed away on September 26, 2021

James Sherwood “Fritz” Hueston Jr., 81 years old of Glen Mills, PA passed away Sunday September 26, 2021 at his home in Glen Mills.  

Born January 4, 1940 in Chester, PA he was the son of the late James S. Hueston Sr. and the late Charlotte S. Schroeder Hueston.

"Fritz" grew up in Chester, Pa. and attended East Carolina University where he pledged Sigma Nu Fraternity. He also spent many summers at the Jersey Shore.  He proudly served in the National Guard and raised his family in Wynnewood, PA. After working in banking and then sales for many years he retired several years ago.  He enjoyed the beach throughout his life visiting shortly before his death.  He enjoyed all sports, especially Penn State football.  He loved music and art and was a fine cook and self-appointed restaurant critic. Later in life, he enjoyed sharing with many, the updates and accomplishments of his three children and six grandchildren.    

He is survived by his sons, Colin R. Hueston (Suzanne) of West Chester, PA, Chris Hueston (Maria) of Malvern, PA and daughter, Kerry Hechler (Bob) of Lincoln University, PA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lindsay, Chris, Molly, Colin , Quinn and Jack as well an many friends.     

Relatives and Friends were invited to his Visitation from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday September 30, 2021 at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380.   

Interment services were private.
