SR #4 Gift to Sigma Nu Educational Foundation in Memory of ETA BETAS KIA IN Vietnam |
A highlight of the Snake Reunion Banquet at the Lexington Country Club was the SR presentation of a $500 check to Brad Beacham, Executive Director, of a $500 check for the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation in memory and honor of our three brothers KIA in Vietnam. Millard Maloney made the presentation with High Council Members Jim Stout and Danny Wood.
All three fallen brothers are presently remembered by memorial bricks, so inscribed in the Memorial Flag Pavilion, that is part of the Pathway of Honor at Sigma Nu Headquarters in Lexington, VA. You may also read more about these three brothers by going to our "In Remembrance" page.
Several other brothers have bricks on the Pathway of Honor.

The newly formed Eta Beta Alumni Chapter encourages our brothers to pledge and regularly contribute to the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation. Your tax-deductible contributions will go a long way in preserving the Legion of Honor. You may also want to contribute to the Pathway of Honor or Memorial Flag Pavilion by having a brick with your name and badge number placed along the Pathway of Honor or in the Memorial Flag Pavilion, established along the Pathway. Any brother may have a brick placed along the Pathway of Honor. In fact during SR #4 a brick was purchased for Brother Robert Myron "Bobby" Tuttle, HB 103, to be placed along the Pathway in the Memorial Flag Pavilion, reserved for those who have served in the military. Below are photos of the bricks for brothers Glen Dyer, Dempsey Williams and "Bull" Rogers. All three were KIA Vietnam. However, if you were active military you will qualify to have a brick in the Memorial Flag Pavilion. Complete information on each of the three can be found on our In Remembrance Page.

Several living brothers already have contributed to the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation and already have brick on the Pathway of Honor. See photos several below and then we urge you to also make your contribution. Roddy Jones, Johnny Jones, Keats Sparrow, Tom Glass and Jerry Williams already have bricks along The Pathway. We hope you will be added soon.
