"We ARE the Sigma Nu Snakes from East Carolina"

Roddy Jones, ECU Alumni, Kappa Sigma Nu & Sigma Nu Brother
Robert L. "Roddy" Jones, HB 33, is featured in the Winter 2010 issue of EC Alumni magazine and with permission from the East Carolina Alumni Association we are pleased to have the article available for you here on our Snake Reunion site. Remember, not only is Roddy an EC alumni but also a Kappa Sigma Nu and Sigma Nu brother. Many of the Eta Beta First Charter brothers remember that Roddy and others played a major roll in getting Dr. Leo Jenkins to approve social fraternities at East Carolina, resulting in the Kappa Sigma Nu Colony becoming the first social fraternity on campus.

Roddy makes references to Kappa Sigma Nu and Sigma Nu in the article so we have arranged for you to be able to download and print the article.  To download it just click here on Roddy Jones '58-A Pirate Remembers.

Also, we'd like to thank the East Carolina Alumni Association for granting Snake Reunion permission to use the article on this website. Additionally, some of you may want to review the complete pubication.
Just click here on Read EC Alumni online.

Since many of you may not be EC Alumni members you can go to the Association website and join online. The site is found at
www.PirateAlumni.com/.

To receive EC Alumni quarterly, please support East Carolina University by making a tax-deductible membership contribution to the East Carolina Alumni Association.” (www.piratealumni.com)
