Holiday Wishes and Happy New Year from the First Charter Snake Reunion |
The Holiday Season is here and as you think about this year and those past during this special time of year, we want you to also think about your Sigma Nu family. And too, before long you will be getting information on plans for the First Charter Snake Reunion gathering of 2010. We want you to plan NOW to attend.
Also, it's not too late to make a year-end contribution to the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation.
We urge you to click here to link to the Holiday Greeting from our Sigma Nu Fraternity national headquarters. Then click on that page, where indicated to watch the Holiday Video from our headquarters in Lexington, VA. At the end you will be taken to other Sigma Nu links, including the link to the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation.
Again, First Charter Snake Reunion wishes you all the very best for the Holiday Season and a Happy New Year. We plan to make Snake Reunion 3 the best ever. You will be receiving more information soon.

This year First Charter Snake Reunion lost several brothers and we shared their family's sense of loss because they were our brothers. As a tribute to those brothers we've lost over the years we offer this symbolic musical treat from Elvis and Martina McBride as they do Elvis's rendition of Blue Christmas. Of note, Martina was digitally added to this video in 2008. Shows how much technology has moved forward since we were ECC and ECU students. This tribute is in memory of all those we have loved and lost for whatever reason over the years. Still, we have our memories and they may bring a tear to our eye but they often bring a smile to our lips. Those memories are treasures we can enjoy during this Holiday Season.

GLOBAL NEWS: Kids from one to 93 can now follow Santa's journey this Christmas. Yes, NORAD is tracking Santa!
This year, the Commerce Department’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is helping the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) track Santa Claus. NOAA will maintain a satellite watch of the North Pole for weather conditions and any unusual activity. NOAA’s Satellite Command and Data Acquisition Station in Fairbanks, Alaska, is ready to spot activity at the North Pole. NORAD will answer questions on its comprehensive Santa tracking website at http://www.noradsanta.org.
All good little boys and girls (regardless of age) or their parents or grandparents can click on http://www.noradsanta.org and follow Santa's path across the world. Also, for those who are visiting grandparents or relatives after Christmas the First Charter Snake Reunion will leave this link to NORAD up so you can, together, check out the path that Santa took to your house on Christmas.
While visiting the site you can scroll the page of Santa's journey to see the places he's been and video of his trip. And you may learn about those places with other information available on the site.
