The Creed

The Eta Beta Chapter of Sigma Nu has returned to the campus of East Carolina University. The Snakes are back!

Arnoult's Early Bird SR $5 Kick Off
After waiting and waiting for SR #5 to finally get here, a few Snakes and "Friends of Sigma Nu" elected to get a head start by dropping in on Joe Arnoult in Morehead City. They also wanted Bobby Tuttle to become a part of SR #5 so they planned a small group visit by Joe and some of his guest to the site where Bobby's ashes now rest.

So, 'ole Joseph Henry opened his house and a small crowd dropped in, forcing him to dust and mop before they got there.  He also breaded shrimp and fix-up lots of other goodies and nibbles. After everyone left it was obvious he would have to clean house again once he got back from the Snake Reunion. Still, he was a great host, thanks to some help from Brenda Kintz, and from Jack and Jolene McCain. Below you will find a few photos in a slide presentation taken as a result of Brother Joe's hospitality.

Visiting Brother Arnoult on October 24th were Brenda Kintz, Jolene McCann, Lois DeLashment, Nina Hunt, Brothers Jack McCann, Bill Young and Jerry Williams. Early in the afternoon three of Joe's golfing buddies also came by and told their stories on Joe but Williams and Young matched them line for line. Late that evening Joe's out of town guests also got to meet his daughter and one of his granddaughters. It was a grand visit for all.

Then on Thursday morning before heading out for Greenville, the convoy made their first stop for a visit with Bobby Tuttle. After a second stop in Vanceboro for a BoJangles treat or too, they rolled into Greenville for SR #5. The company, food and hospitality were great and the visit with Brother Tuttle was special as you can see from the photo slide presentation below.
