Frankie was born Aug. 2, 1942 in Wilson, to Rachel Galloway and the late Forrest Galloway. He was a graduate of Ralph L. Fike High School class of 1960 and went on to graduate from East Carolina University in 1964. While at ECU, he pledged Sigma Nu fraternity and was a member of the football team from 1960-1963. On Feb. 5, 2000, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame for football and track at Fike High School. He was also a member of the state 4A football championship team of 1958 and received All State Honors for football.

Frankie is survived by his loving family which includes his mother, Rachel Galloway, of the home; daughter, Ginny Galloway, of California; and her mother, Judy Galloway, of Ohio; and an extended family of relatives and friends.
