SIGMA NU AND SNAKE REUNION # 9
With the Eta Beta Chapter now alive and well this will be a huge event since we will be including our candidate class of 40 in some of the social events. I am also happy to report that Mr. Danny Wood has worked incredibly hard with all of you to fully fund our Eta Beta Sigma Nu Scholarship for Excellence so we will be collecting dues this year to maintain our general fund and plan to start a house fund for the Chapter.

The Reunion will be held on Friday - Sunday, September 9th - 11th. This is a home game weekend with NC State so rooms and tickets will go quickly. We are working on a golf course and will try to play golf Friday morning early or Thursday as a backup plan. More to come on this topic.
We have 35 rooms blocked under the Sigma Nu name at the Wingate Inn as before. You need to call the Wingate Inn and reserve your room. They are first come, first serve. You can cancel up to August 10th should your plans change. We have 30 King rooms and 5 Double rooms. Rates are $89 for Thursday and $119 for Friday and Saturday. This is the same as last year. We will also have the business meeting room for our social events and business meeting. Make your reservations now! Call 252-355-4283.
We will have a block of 50 football tickets reserved for the game. Chip Mayo and Ray Spears have volunteered again this year to coordinate ticket and travel to and from the game. Ray already has a bus lined up to drop us off at the front door. Chip will be sending out an email for ticket reservations. ECU has not released ticket prices but expect to pay about $65/ticket which was last years price.
Realizing that we now have a Chapter and expect to have the 40 young men attend at least 1-2 of our events, it will be important this year to set up a dues structure to cover our cost. We are working now to reduce our Reunion expense but need to not only cover costs but add to a house fund as part of our overall plan. As such, please send your donations/dues made out to Eta Beta Alumni Association or Snake Reunion. If you plan to attend the Reunion we are asking for a minimum donation of $100 to cover costs. Anything over that amount can be designated as "house fund" if desired.
