The Creed

The Eta Beta Chapter of Sigma Nu has returned to the campus of East Carolina University. The Snakes are back!

Snake Reunion # 7 was a Huge Success
If you didn't participate in the Eta Beta Alumni Associaton annual meeting by joining "The Snake Snakes of ECU" for their big gathering in Greenville on September 18-21, then you suffered a significant loss.  It was a fabulous gathering on Sigma Nu brothers from the First Charter through the third. And lots of decisions were made about the future growth of the Eta Beta Alumni Association/Snake Reunion and for bringing the Eta Beta Chapter back to the ECU campus. The Snakes will return to Greenville in 2015 for SR #8 and in 2016 we hope to be back to introduce many of you to the young men of the newly established Eta Beta Colony. Our goal is to establish the new colony in the Sprin of 2016. Yes, there is a plan for Sigma Nu to return to the ECU campus.

All photos taken at SR #7 in our possession have been posted on this site. Those attending are requested to share their photos by emailing them to tjw@tjwlc.com. If they are clear, in focus and add to the experience of SR #7, they will be posted. Please share your photos with the brotherhood.
Are YOU getting EAST magazine, from East Carolina University?
EAST, the magazine of East Carolina University, has grown to be a centerpiece in the university's efforts to showcase ECU's faculty, students, and alumni. EAST is published quarterly, on Feb. 15, May 15, Aug. 15 and Nov. 15. It is not a subscription publication. It is mailed to those who support ECU through their donations to the university, or roughly 60,000 friends and alumni.

How to Receive East:

If you would like to receive the print version of East by mail, please make your donation by calling 252-328-9550 or visiting the East Carolina Annual Fund website today. You also receive the magazine by joining the Pirate Club or the Alumni Association. Do it now.

Steve Tuttle, editor of the magazine, welcomes your comments and suggestions.  You may also thank Steve for joining us for our Alumni Banquet and for his support of the Eta Beta Alumni Chapter. During his remarks at SR #7, Steve pointed out that what we are doing makes a difference. As a result of those efforts we hope to bring back an Eta Beta Colony to ECU in the Spring of 2016.

We are "The Snakes from East Carolina"
